2020 Chevrolet Tahoe Gets Upgrades
The 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe promises to bring upgraded ride quality and comfort to families. The new model was recently spotted testing in camouflage. The full-size SUV looks similar on the outside, but it receives several powertrain upgrades. While there’s still a model year to go before the 2020 Tahoe reaches the market, it looks like the SUV will raise the bar for family models.
The new Chevrolet Tahoe is likely to see the same interior space and towing capabilities as the outgoing model. Under the hood, it looks like the full-size SUV will follow the Silverado pickup with upgraded versions of the 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V8 engines. There’s no confirmation that the 2.7-liter four-cylinder and 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine will be available on the Tahoe.
Eight- and 10-speed automatic transmissions will likely make their way to the large SUV. Rear-wheel drive will remain the standard on most models. A selectable all-wheel-drive system will make its way to the lineup for 2020. A new independent rear suspension provides improved ride comfort. In terms of pricing, the 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe won’t stray too far from the existing Tahoe. Its impressive range of upgrades makes it even more enticing for families in need of space, towing capability, and performance.
